PERISTALTIC HOSES

Checkmate Flexible Engineering is the company that developed the technology of modern, reliable peristaltic hoses for hose pumps. Our hoses benefit from many years of experience in design and construction. They are available for any make of pump requiring a hose inside diameter from 10 mm to 200 mm. A full range of liner compounds for different applications is available. We are proud to supply most of the pump OEMs and also major distributors.

Construction

The outer layers are made from highly abrasion resistant natural rubber. There are two plies of nylon reinforcement and the liner compound is tailored to the application. Working pressures of 15-20 bar are perfectly normal for our hoses. All Avon hoses are precision ground to the exact outer diameter required. This simplifies pump set up and hose changing. As with all our materials, Avon Fabrications’ rubber compounds have been specially developed for peristaltic hoses.

Liner Compounds

Natural Rubber, Oil Resistant Nitrile, Food Grade Nitrile (to either US or EC standards), Butyl/EPDM, Hypalon. We can advise on the best compound for any application.
