Checkmate Flexible Engineering’s developed and supplies inflatable jet intake covers (or “intake blanks”) to a number of NATO air forces. All our products are NATO codified.

These covers combine light weight with the ability to be collapsed quickly for stowage. It was for this reason that they were chosen for the EH101 Merlin Helicopter. The light weight non metallic construction means they minimize damage if ingested or blown across the deck into personnel or aircraft. Stowage is easy when deflated.
