Duplex and single slings may be manufactured with three different types of eyes, becket (usually protected), flat and reversed.

Steel end plates are recommended when the sling is subject to continuous operation in the same environment, eg: when being used to lift loads of a similar type and size. They are available in either reeving (for choke lift) or non-reeving (for basket lift).

Wear – sleeves
These may be manufactured in a variety of materials to suit the application and are recommended when abrasion is a problem or sharp objects are being lifted or to provide added protection and prolong the life of the sling.

PU – Coated Slings
Webslings may be coated either single sided or totally encapsulated with cut resistant polyurethane for particularly harsh and abrasive surfaces or sharp objects.
