Our specialist equipment is a combination of Checkmate
designed and partnership products that we feel are the
bench mark for this industry sector. Bringing together
over one hundred years of combined experience from all
over the World offers the end user the ultimate solution
when working in confined spaces.
The range shown is truly modular and can be adapted to
suit a variety of complex situations from standard access
through a manhole to side entry of a tunnel or mine shaft.
It is highly unlikely in such a diverse area just one
product will meet the needs of the operator and
environment around him. Through a combination of
innovative engineered products most risks can be
managed and the user kept safe at all times with
provisions for rescue.
It is important to note that only trained professionals
should attempt to use any safety equipment but extra
care should be taken and further training provided which
considers all the risks, these should include a thorough
risk assesment and the correct use of appropriate PPE.
For further information please contact our training
department who will be happy to assist you further.

CGM-V Confined Space Davits |
| |
|
We are proud to offer two totally new products to the
market in confined space technology from a unique
Global partnership drawing on a combined experience
of over 100 years. The CGM range is the most versatile
Davit and Tie Off post systems on the market.
The CGM - V System is a completely portable, super light
weight, compact and durable folding Davit.
The CGM - System is also compatible with the CGM-687
mast adapter. This allows the davit to be installed in a
multiple of locations without the need for multiple davits.
Our CGM-W man riding winch is ideally suited to allow
fast and effective raising and lowering functions on these
devices.

The CGM - TO system is tested for up to three people as
a fall arrest anchorage.
The CGM-TO is totally unique in the market with built in
dampers to reduce impact forces on both the user and
the anchorage. Type approved to both CSA, ANSI and
CE the CGM-TO range is the ultimate in multi user tie off
systems.
The V system and TO systems can quickly be adapted to
suit a variety of difficult and challenging access situations,
from a “Tow Bar” connection to High Voltage circuit
breakers.
Customised brackets can easily be designed and
fabricated to anchor to rail tracks, concrete, steel and
other structures.

MA Confined Space |
Confined space can be one of the most dangerous and
difficult access situations. In many cases the basic
configuration of a Tripod and Fall Arrest Block with a
recovery winch is simply not sufficient. This usually occurs
when the user has to descend deeper than the standard
15m of a FAB15R device and or when rescue times are
critical.
The Multi Access product is ideally suited to places such
as silos, work shafts, lift shafts, wells and sewer canals.
The device is quickly mounted to the TR2 tripod via the
bracket module and a rapid but controlled descent is now
possible. Users can be rescued via the ratchet style winch
device and have the added advantage of using both
arms for leverage. A lift speed of 5m/min is possible. |

Multi Access can also be used for side access holes and
special mounting brackets can be designed and
manufactured to suit almost any opening. |
