The FABX2-LE ANSI Leading Edge Self-Retracting Lifeline offers all the same benefits as the standard FABX2, lightweight handling, excellent serviceability and exceptional performance with the addition of a leading edge-rating of 0.005” (0.13mm) or above. The FABX2-LE is available with 50ft (15m) galvanized cable.

The computer-calibrated and serialized digital braking technology is unparalleled, with each brake’s torque setting being individually set for optimum performance. The locking mechanism is designed to prevent nuisance lockups for increased productivity and automatically engages in the event of a fall while simultaneously activating an impact indicator to verify a fall has occurred.
The FABX2-LE ANSI housing is made of a tough polymer with recessed areas and smooth contours to protect labels and reduce size without compromising functionality. The unique shape of the lightweight thermoplastic housing provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio for ease of installation. This combination of high performance materials and a fully engineered design keeps the FABX2-LE ANSI both lightweight and durable.
The FABX2-LE ANSI has been tested and approved in a controlled facility for safe use over an edge with a 0.005” (0.13mm) radius or above, this however, does not negate the need for edge protection. Use over an edge should always be avoided where possible.
The ergonomic handle is designed for comfort when handling or performing the function test
The chassis comprises of two hot rolled steel hangers which give the block its unique strength.
The entry aperture has two opposing brushes which helps to minimize the take-up of debris into the block.
The ANSI-rated gate swivel hook includes a fall indicator, which clearly shows if the device has been subjected to a shock load.
After extensive research and development the FABX1-LE has a leading edge-rating radius of 0.005in (0.13mm) or above.
